Our Academic Courses

Our Homeschool program provides a supplemental and enriching learning curriculum for homeschool students in ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies with enrichment activities like music and theatre. These classes are offered for grades K-12th.

Calendar

Our learning programs are offered on Mondays - Fridays from August to May, mirroring an academic school year.

Schedule

Programs and activities are scheduled from 8 am - 3 pm.

Our Enrichment Program Components:

ELA: Language Arts and Communication

Our program fosters a love of language and develops strong communication skills. Students will engage in reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities that promote critical thinking, creativity, and empathy. By exploring diverse texts and perspectives, students will build their emotional intelligence, social skills, and character.

Mathematics

Our program integrates math concepts with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Students will develop a deep understanding of mathematical principles while also learning to apply them to real-world situations. Through hands-on activities, projects, and collaborative problem-solving, students will build their emotional intelligence, social skills, and character.

Science: Inquiry and Exploration

Our program sparks curiosity and a passion for scientific inquiry. Students will conduct experiments, observe natural phenomena, and analyze data to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. Through hands-on activities and collaborative projects, students will build their emotional intelligence, social skills, and character.

Social Studies: Citizenship and Global Awareness

Our program explores the history, cultures, and societies of the world. Students will develop a sense of civic responsibility and global citizenship through the study of government, economics, geography, and current events. By engaging in discussions and debates, students will build their emotional intelligence, social skills, and character.

Our Enrichment Program Components:

Creative Arts & Expression

This course is designed for students with a creative spirit who want to explore and develop their artistic talents. Students will engage in a variety of artistic disciplines, including music, visual arts, theater, dance, and other forms of creative expression. Through hands-on activities, creative projects, and collaborative experiences, students will learn foundational techniques while building confidence in their unique artistic voice. The course encourages imagination, experimentation, and self-expression as students explore different art forms and discover new ways to communicate ideas and emotions. Participants will also develop important skills such as creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, and presentation while gaining an appreciation for the arts and the creative process.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)

In this course, students get to immerse their selves in the exciting world of STEM through hands-on inquiry and problem-solving. This integrated course challenges students to think critically, innovate, and apply scientific principles, technological tools, engineering design processes, and mathematical reasoning to real-world scenarios. Through hands-on, engaging projects and experiments, students will develop essential analytical skills, foster curiosity, and explore potential career pathways in the rapidly evolving fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

In accordance with Florida’s homeschooling regulations, parents remain the primary educators and are responsible for their child’s overall education. Our program complements home-based instruction by offering academic instruction, enrichment activities, and collaborative learning experiences. We are not a private or public school, but a supportive community designed to enhance your homeschooling journey. Parents are responsible for all record keeping and reporting requirements as outlined by the state of Florida for homeschool students and the Step Up for Students PEP and FES-UA scholarships parent responsibility.
